Garden Event Speaker

I am available year round for garden event speaking. I have been a garden speaker since moving to Clark County in 2001. I have been a featured speaker at the Camas Public Library Gardening Series, the Tualatin Public Library, the Community Garden Club of Camas-Washougal and the Tigard Garden Club. I will be speaking at the Camas Farmers' Market on June 16, 2010.  I am a Master Gardener with over eight years of experience in gardening, including vegetable gardening, in Southwest Washington, and have written a container gardening column for Vancouver's VanGuard Newspaper, as well as an article on growing mini-dwarf fruit trees in containers as published in the Master Gardeners' Program/Foundation newsletter. I am also proprietor of the new popular Southwest Washington gardening website, Minerva'sGarden.com.

  • * Recycled Gardening: Ways To Reuse and Repurpose For A Beautiful Garden
  • * Hummingbird Gardening

I can also tailor a talk to your specific needs for topics and length of time--just make the request!

Garden Speaker Rates:

Rates are based on the length of talk you desire and how far away your location is. I do offer a reduced rate for non-profit organizations and garden clubs with limited budgets.
