April 26th: Camas Public Library Gardening Series: Athena McElrath presents" Cozy Garden Seating Areas" Talk. Come learn about how to create small and intimate garden seating areas in your garden! Site exploration, design and decoration will be discussed. 7-8pm, in the upstairs meeting room of the Library.
April 30th and May 1st: NatureScape Wildlife Botanical Gardens Plant Sale: 10am-4pm. At the gardens of Naturescape in Brush Prairie, 11000 NE 149th Street, Brush Prairie, WA. Offering :
TREES Shade, Flowering, Fruiting and Weeping $8.00 as well as Northwest Native plants. May 2011
May 7th: Camas Plant Sale: 9 am- 4 pm in downtown Camas. Dozens of plant vendors, antiques merchants, and craftspeople with items suitable for the garden and Mother's Day. Wear comfortable shoes, and bring a small wagon or cart to haul your purchased items back to your car.
May 7th and May 8th: Master Gardeners' Plant Sale: May 7th times are 9am-4pm, and May 8th times are 10am-3pm, all held at the 78th Street Heritage Farm at 1919 NE 78th St., Vancouver, WA. Selling Vegetables, annuals, herbs, berries, perennials, shrubs, trees, houseplants, hanging baskets and flower bowls. Unique garden vendors and food cart. Boy Scout troop 449 to haul and load your plants, cash, checks, visa, mastercard accepted. All proceeds benefit local horticultural programs. A great sale with good prices--recommended!
May 25th: Camas Farmers' Market Opening Day: Come support local farmers and growers who offer outstanding local food products at the local Farmers' Market. Downtown in front of the Camas Public Library, 3-7pm on Wednesday evenings. Held throughout the summer. Master Gardeners will have an Answer Clinic booth each week at the market, so come down and ask your gardening questions!
